Eugene Zeelie is an Industrial Engineer and his experience includes 11 years working in the UK and Europe. In 2006 he was Head of Processes at the Technology Station in Materials and Processing Technologies, Vaal University of Technology. Here, he was instrumental in the development of various commercially viable products, incorporating Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) technologies for the use in functional prototyping. His research and special interests include the influence of lean based principles on additive manufacturing for future manufacturing industries. Mr Zeelie facilitates the development and implementation of Measurement & Verification material for local training and industry applications which contributes to industry energy savings, accurate reporting on energy project savings, energy efficiency and demand site management. He is involved in research, design and implementation of photovoltaic systems and energy training.
